AND HERE’S MY STORY

Before I became an entrepreneur, I was deeply immersed in the world of art. 

Creativity has always been my driving force. 

But like many of you, I faced a very real, daily struggle: tangled hair, a (sometimes) sore scalp, and unpleasant hair grooming experiences due to using combs that weren’t made for people with textured hair like mine.

THE TURNING POINT

During the Covid-19 pandemic, something clicked. 

One morning, I woke up with a vision: a hair comb that could make grooming easier and more enjoyable. 

I imagined a comb that could effortlessly detangle thick, highly textured hair—just like mine. 

Inspired and excited, I grabbed a large, wide-toothed comb from my vanity and made a simple modification: beaded tips on the teeth.

I tested my creation on a textured wig, and to my delight, it worked beautifully. 

But the surprises didn’t stop there. 

The comb also provided a soothing scalp massage and could glide through my locs without getting stuck—a REAL game changer!

FROM VISION TO REALITY

Realizing I had something special, I embarked on a quest to see if a similar product existed. 

I visited countless beauty supply stores in Los Angeles and searched online, only to find that my three-in-one comb was truly unique. 

Encouraged by this discovery, I consulted a patent attorney and filed for a utility and design patent.
